About the event

"The over 35 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards and a multitude of varietals provide a diverse set of 'ingredients' for a talented winemaker Nick Briggs stretch his skills - the balance, purity of fruit and complexity of his wines are a cornucopia of flavors."  - Naushad Huda

Dutcher Crossing Winery represents an authentic experience for wine-lovers in beautiful Dry Creek Valley. The winery brings a fantastic blend of award-winning wines, gorgeous wine country views and warm hospitality. Their classic 1900s style farmhouse winery is situated on 35 acres. The winery is mindful in their stewardship of the land as they continue sustainable farming and solar energy practice. Their accolades and awards are too many to list here but can be found on their website!

Winemaker Nick Briggs is coming back down and bringing wines he's excited about that are tasting beautifully. A California native, Briggs earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 2005. He brings a wealth of experience in winemaking, crafting some of Napa Valley’s premier wines.

2022 Sauvignon Blanc SRP $40

The uniqueness of this Savi' B is in its richness which comes from a specific winemaking decision Nick has made (ask him!). White peaches, guava, honeydew melon, key lime, and hints of lemongrass, jasmine, and jalapeño all give a fresh, herbaceous, and green feeling.

2022 Winemakers’ Cellar Grenache Rose SRP $40

Dusty rose, copper salmon in color reminiscent of world-class rosé from Provence. Aromas of stone fruits and white flowers; bing cherries, golden apples, yellow peaches, and fresh cut grass.

2017 Winemakers’ Cellar Kupferschmid SRP $45

An aromatic Rhone blend (Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah). This wine is warm and inviting right from the first smell out of the glass. Aromas of raspberries, dried cherries, fig nutmeg, and allspice.

2018 Pritchett Peaks Zinfandel SRP $52

Ripe red fruits, sweet cream, dried flowers, and white pepper aromas. When it opens up, notes of dark, chocolate-covered cherries, dried herbs, graham cracker, and toasty oak come through.

2017 Taylor Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon SRP $52

Library wine of their flagship wine! This will be fun; deep rich garnet color, bursting at the seams with aromas of berry and spices, this wine is loaded.  Cassis, black cherries, and plums, black pepper, long finish.

COST Limited early bird tickets for the tasting of all wines. Price increases after early bird is sold out. Only 40 tickets TOTAL are available for this event.
