The family has been farming vineyard land in Paso for over 30 years. Winemaker and owner Austin Hope has been praised for his wines which consistently receive monster scores and sell out every year. CJ is doing a very special tasting for us with many wines that are rarely seen out of the tasting room, winery only and some you probably didn't know Austin produced.
THE WINES
2022 Austin Hope Cellar Select Sauvignon Blanc ($47)
Ultra limited production. On the nose, Meyer lemon and hints of lemon grass. Flavors of sweet lemon curd with a touch of vanilla. This medium bodied white has an inherent creaminess from neutral oak barrels and splash of acid that excites.
