Part of the joy I get in producing VINOPOP events is bringing wineries of all sizes to our Orange County community. Cordant Winery is a boutique winery from Paso Robles that's punching way above its weightclass - famed critics like Robert Parker and Jeb Dunnick certainly agree.
This year Cordant is sending their hotshot winemaker Ryker Wall to take us through a journey of five (5) of their award-winning wines. Ryker grew up in Southern California and fell in love with wine during his time at Cal Poly. He spent a few years at Denner Vineyards under the tutelage of incredible winemaker Anthony Yount, continuing to expand his knowledge and passion. He then came to Cordant brining his winemaking philosophy which is to pull a sense of tension and structure, while maintaining freshness and drinkability in all his wines.
