THE WINES:

2022 Pinot Grigio (Retail $20)

SILVER MEDAL, 2022 SUNSET INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION 

Delicate white peach building to a mid-palate to reveal bright tropical fruits, followed by juicy ripe cantaloupe on the finish.

2021 Dante Dusi Zinfandel (Retail $48)

92 points from both Vinous & Decanter. 

Their flagship Zinfandel from vines planted in 1945. This Zinfandel jumps straight into deep dark fruit, lush with blackberry and plum, layers of minerals, dark chocolate, toast and spice. 

2020 The Don (Retail $48)

94 Points, Vinous

From the famed Dusi Paper Street vineyards at 2200 feet elevation, and so steep that you have to farm by hand. Deep ruby in color, this Zinfandel has a dark fruit and inky nose filled with black pepper and tilled earth. Aside from using the fruit from Paper Street herself, Janell only sells fruit from Paper Street to a handful of wineries: Bodega de Edgar, Bushong Vintage Company, Clos Solene, Glunz Family Winery, Mc Price Myers, Turley Cellars

2020 Paper Street The Narrator (Retail $68)

92 points, Vinous

This GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) this Rhone blend has an essence of licorice and dried flowers on the nose.  This wine opens with bright  cherry chased with toasted nuts. It rolls into clove and dark chocolate on the mid palate, followed by deep notes of cranberry and pomegranate on the finish.

2018 Zinfandel Port (Retail $38 for 375mL)

This one is coming in haute! This Haute zinfandel port is balanced of super ripe, long-hanging fruit fortified with brandy, delivers one succulent and tantalizing treat. Perfect with friends & decadent chocolate or night-cap.
