Small lot, passionate Paso farmers & winemakers took guests through their high scoring Rhone varietals. Anita and Varinder Sahi of Copia Vineyards are a young couple who left successful careers in engineering and journalism to follow their love for wine. They exude a passion for wine, people and the land. The wines are elegant, finessed and a beautiful representation of how Rhone varietals (e.g. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah) can grow in Paso Robles. Varinder went back to school at UC Davis to earn his winemaking degree and both interned at acclaimed Booker Vineyards with superstar winemaker Eric Jensen.
